The short construction power shift transmission has two input shafts, an output shaft (13) and an eccentric auxiliary shaft (50). A gearwheel in the transmission path of the reverse gear is rigidly connected to the first input shaft (23), or rigidly connected to the second input shaft (24), or can be connected, whereby the first gear is driven by the respective other input shaft, and therefore can be selected up and down by the selecting of double clutches.
