The walk-type snow removing machine (10) includes a crankshaft (35) for outputting power from an engine (14). A drive pulley (36) is provided to the proximal end of the crankshaft. A snow-removing work section (13) is driven by the power transmitted by the crankshaft to the drive pulley and a transmission belt (37) via an electromagnetic clutch (60) located at the distal end of the crankshaft.
