Self service output device for bank receipts has an authorization unit with a print unit and a print medium store with printed media in sheet form and an ejecting unit for output of printed media. A printed medium comprises printed information of which at least a part of the information is sealed so that it cannot be read. The seal is at least partially destructible. An Independent claim is made for a method for printing and output of bank receipts, whereby an authorization unit is controlled so that the print unit can select a printable medium stored in the medium store.
