Time of flight angiography imaging method in which blood vessel to tissue contrast is improved by use of a k-matrix layer in frequency space with sampling carried out so that measurement point to matrix center distance varies
Method has the following steps: generation of a sequence of high frequency excitation pulses; generation of gradient pulses using gradient coils such that the response signal can be sampled using an ADC to provide a k-matrix layer in frequency space; sampling of the k-matrix such that the distance between a measurement point and the center of the k matrix is continuously increased or reduced; and alteration of repetition time and flip angle during sampling. The invention also relates to a corresponding magnetic resonance tomography instrument.
