The shower has different shower jet pattern plates, connected individually from a turnable coupling within a housing, through which shower water is supplied. The jet pattern plates (20,21) each have an associated holder (30,34) with at least one retainer opening. This holds each plate in position so as to be non-turnable, via catches engaging in inset apertures in the opening jacket. One holder is clip-shaped, and is fitted to a wall-mounted bar (5) so it can be moved up and down, but can be locked in selected position. The other holders are ring-shaped with flat fastener surface to engage on a wall.
