An apparatus for automatic preparation of human biological material for genetic analysis, is new. An apparatus for automatic preparation of human biological material for genetic analysis, has two linear units (2,6) with integrated stepper motors (3,7) and a carrier (18) for the vertical linear unit. A Peltier element (1) is mounted at the vertical linear unit, to be moved by its stepper motor to position the sample carrier (9) at the required gap from the tripod rod (8) of the laser sensor. The horizontal linear unit moves the Peltier element horizontally for positioning. A glass rod (4), bent to cover the whole width of the sample carrier, is positioned accurately over it by a tripod rod (5). The pipette (10) contains a sample volume of 200 microliters. The sample carrier, of crown glass, measures 75x25x1 mm. The apparatus has an electronic control system with a touch panel for the operative.
