The valve housing (1) has a first flow channel (5) for esp. air, formed by an intake (2) and an outlet channel (3), and a second intake channel (4) for esp. exhaust gas. The fluid connection between second intake channel and outlet channel is closed by a valve shut-off part forming part of a valve body. The smallest diameter of the first flow channel is located outside the plane of the valve body (10), which is at right angles to the flow direction of the air. The valve housing is fabricated in one piece by a die-casting process. The first flow channel has at least one undercut.
