The pivoting device with a fluid drive comprises a hollow component (5) with an expandable hollow chamber rigidly connected to two components (2) which are interconnected by a joint (1). The hollow component is a flexible tube. Fastening points (3) are installed on the sides of the two components, and the ends (4) of the tube are sealed on the fastening points by clamping, gluing or welding. Means are provided for the determining of an angular position of the joint and comprise either an angle sensor or receiver to determine fluid pressure and volume inside the tube. An Independent claim is included for a pivoting system with at least two pivoting devices installed in series one behind the other.
