The spray regulator comes in cap form (10) which is slid over the sleeve-shaped housing (11) and latches onto this by means of stays (12) spaced round the cap so as to engage catches round the housing (11). The regulator cap contains perforated disks or plates as does also the housing (11), itself with its perforated (18) disks or plate molded in this case onto the housing. The housing can also have a releasably inserted regulator. Air can be drawn in via openings (25) between cap (10) and housing (11), notably between stays (12) and housing top rim.
