The bearing ring for the mounting of blade roots (1) of variable stator blades (2) in the HP compressor of a gas turbine has an annular base component (3) mounted on bearing bushes (4). The bearing ring is divided into individual segments (5) which have a box section construction. The free ends of the segments are bevelled in relation to the circumferential direction. Conical bearing bushes are installed in the segments, widening towards the outer side, and the cone angle of the recess in the segment for the fitting of the bearing bush is the same as or greater than half the angle between the axes of the outermost stator blades.
