Operating electrically driven vehicle involves drive controller activating defined number of current converters depending on traction force required for section of route and/or operation of vehicle
The method involves supplying one or more drive motors from each of a number of current converters. A drive controller activates a defined number m-x of current converters depending on the traction force required for a section of a route and/or vehicle operation, where x is greater than/equal to 0, less than number of motors m and is a natural integral and defines the optimal number of motors for the route section and/or vehicle operation. The method involves supplying one or more drive motors from each of a number of current converters. A drive controller activates a defined number m-x of current converters depending on the traction force required for a section of a route and/or operation of the vehicle, where x is greater than or equal to 0 and less than the number of motors m and is an integral natural number and defines the optimal number of motors required for the section of the route and/or operation of the vehicle.
