The housing for a pneumatic servo unit is in two halves, the first half (6) having a radially extending flange (5) and the second half (7) a radially extending outer section (9) to which is connected a cylindrical edge section (3). A clamp (1) made preferably of plastic holds both the cylindrical edge section and also the flange, thereby connecting, and preferably detachably, the two halves of the housing. The clamp is locked to the cylindrical edge section and preferably presses the flange under a preloading in the axial direction against the radial outer section.
