The at least one multifilament yarn (1) is twisted with the conductive filament yarn(s) to form the core. A thermoplastic sleeve is stuck to the core. The breaking elongation of the hybrid monofilament is preferably 4% and the load carrying capacity of the twisted core is preferably at least 15g/dtex. The sleeve consists of thermoplastics which are tear- and seawater-resistant and also resist ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
