A process for coloration of nonwoven materials involving: (a) precipitation in the nonwoven material of a combination including pigment and binder, where the nonwoven consists at least partially of unsplit and/or at least partially split microfibers and/or microfilaments containing polyester polyamide components, and (b) application of a dispersion colorant to the nonwoven, printing onto the nonwoven, and heat treament is new. A process for coloration of nonwoven materials involving: (a) precipitation in the nonwoven material of a combination including at least one pigment and at least one binder, where the binder is subjected to (sic) specific displacement of solution equilibrium (coagulation) and/or specific destabilization of the dispersion in the nonwoven material, where the nonwoven consists at least partially of unsplit and/or at least partially split microfibers and/or microfilaments containing at least one polyester component and at least one polyamide component, and (b) at least one dispersion colorant is at least once applied (sic) to color the nonwoven, optionally at least once printed onto the nonwoven, and subjected to heat treament, with the proviso that both steps (a) and (b) are used at least once for coloration.
