The cereals are contained in a tank (2), moved horizontally by a worm conveyor (12) to a discharge unit (4), and in rising direction to a second silo. The material is rotated within the discharge unit and accelerated to a speed, which permits free flight across a pre-set distance. The transfer point to the discharge unit remains blocked, until a rotary speed is built-up, which corresponds to the unhindered movement of the cereals towards the discharge unit outlet. The discharge unit has a drum-shaped housing (16) with cereal intake (13) and an outlet positioned radial to the drive shaft (17). The shaft carries a non-turnable radial plate (19), with several ejector blades (20) open in direction of the drive shaft. The intake is closed by a slide (14).
