Exhaust gas turbocharger for combustion engine has control grid in turbine inlet cross-section at distance from turbine wheel; compressed combustion air is fed into space between grid, turbine wheel
The device has an exhaust gas turbine, a compressor in the induction tract with a compressor wheel connected via a shaft to a turbine wheel, a blow-down device with a blow-down line between the compressor outlet and turbine inlet and an adjustable blow-down valve. A control grid is arranged in the turbine inlet at a distance from the turbine wheel. Compressed combustion air is fed between the grid and turbine wheel via the blow-down device. The device has an exhaust gas turbine (3) in the exhaust system (4), a compressor (5) in the induction tract (6), whereby a compressor wheel is connected via a shaft (7) to a turbine wheel, a blow-down device (10) with a blow-down line between the compressor outlet and the turbine inlet and an adjustable blow-down valve (11). A control grid is arranged in the turbine inlet cross-section at a distance from the turbine wheel and compressed combustion air is fed into the space between the grid and turbine wheel via the blow-down device.
