Mounting for solar panels (14) comprises two plates (24, 28), between which the edge of the panel is held. These are fastened together by a bolt with a third plate at its base which fits into a U-profile mounting rail (12). Three fasteners are fitted on each long side of the panel, at a distance from the corners and at a maximum distance of 0.6 m from each other.
