The oil sump drain for motor vehicles has a funnel (4) with a fastener socket (8) attached to its top. The funnel has a handle (9) to allow the sump drain plug screw to be removed. The bottom of the funnel has an outlet pipe (5) connected to a collection tank (6). The socket is mounted on a support (7) on the inside of the funnel.
