Fabrication method for truck for inline skates provides blank with central cut-out, stamped from plate metal and bent twice to form height and low platform to support boot

The truck has two platforms of different height to support a boot. It is fabricated by stamping a blank (1) from a flat metal plate, which has a long central cut-out (2), interrupted at the end by a gap. It has means for mechanical connection (7,8) of parts (14,15) neighboring the gap. The blank is bent into a U-shape, forming a high platform (12), and the parts next to the gap are bent to form the low platform (13). The connection means are bores on either side of the gap, and final connection is made via the sole of the boot.
