The pressure control valve for a vent pipe between an IC engine crankcase and an induction pipe has a membrane (8) which separates an upper chamber (3) which is under a reference pressure from a main chamber (4). The membrane is connected to a conical valve (17) which restricts the top (7) of an air outlet as the pressure in the lower chamber drops.
