Power supply for electric motors in vehicle with 42 V supply network, halves supply voltage using voltage divider and op-amp, with zero-potential output connected to motor terminal
The supply voltage is halved using a voltage symmetrizing circuit comprising a voltage divider, and operational amplifier, two transistors and smoothing capacitors. In addition to its plus terminal and minus terminal, the circuit includes a zero-potential output (U0) which is connected to the terminal of the connected electric motors (12). At least one further terminal of each connected electric motor is connected to two driver transistors of a half-bridge respectively connected to the positive and negative terminals. INDEPENDENT claims are included for an electric motor, and for a actuator drive using an electric motor.
