The honeycomb radiator grille (1) for the motor car has square or rectangular cells which are open at the front and the back so that cooling air can flow through. The grille has a surround frame (4) with curved sides (5), top (6), and bottom (7) portions and has a vertical central support bar (8). The cells are made of sets of horizontal (2) and vertical (3) grille bars with complementary slits so that they can fit together to form a honeycomb structure of pleasing appearance. The horizontal and/or vertical grille bars may have decorative chrome strips on the front edge and are straight as seen from the front.
