Measurement device for determining the diameter of the forward eye chamber at the height of the chamber angle. A contact lens is used to make two opposing chamber angle regions visible. Light beams from two light sources are directed into each of these regions. All four light sources are displaced towards the optical axis by displacement of the two pairs in opposing directions perpendicularly towards the axis, while the beams of each light pair are made to coincide. From the two displacement positions the required diameter is calculated.
