To establish a blood bank, of stored and preserved blood samples, the data relating to the samples are stored in a database (4,6,7). The stored clinical data (1) and medical knowledge (2) of the samples are accessed through suitable algorithms. The buffy coats, blood plasma and/or blood serum are isolated from the blood samples. Lymphocytes are separated from the buffy coats and are transformed or cultivated for DNA analysis. Blood cells are transformed for cultivation with the Epstein Barr virus. The analysis data of the blood products and DNA analysis results (3) are registered for input into a computer-assisted system for comparison.
