The bogie frame for a three-axle bogie has cross members (2,2') which are cranked sharply downwards, main brake levers located above the upper booms of the cross members, and brake anchors (7,7') installed below cross members and head pieces (6,6') and detachably connected to them. The brake anchors may have different constructional forms, and the bogie frame has no cross sectional weak points and especially in the form of penetrations for brake components.
