Clamping chuck comprises a chuck body (1) having in its front end surface several radial jaw guides (2) in each of which a clamping jaw (3) is adjustably arranged. Recesses (8) provided in the region of the guide surfaces of the jaw guides contain lubricating insert elements (9) having lubricant channels for supplying the jaw guides with lubricant. An Independent claim is also included for a lubricating insert element for inserting in a recess provided in the region of a guide surface of a jaw guide of a clamping chuck. Preferred Features: The lubricating insert elements are inserted in the recesses of the chuck body from the front end surface of the chuck body.
