An engine (4) has an active link with a brake device (7) directed into a braking position by relying on brake pressure produced in a braking phase on a pump (1). A control valve (14) controls the brake device and has release (14a) and braking (14b) positions. A spring (18) pushes the control valve towards the release position. Brake pressure forces the control valve towards the braking position.
