Both objects are equipped with positioning systems (3) and the data of the positioning system is transferred to a guidance control unit (5) via communication links (4). The transmitted data is used with data from a navigation computer (7) and a movement computer (6) to determine the shortest route between the moving object and the target location of the movable object. An Independent claim is made for navigation system for guiding a moving object towards another movable object.
