The prosthetic vessel is in the form of a flexible, arch-shaped tube with pleating and fold (3). When not implanted, the shape of the arch is fixed by at least one continuous longitudinal tension-restriction and or by a number of transverse tension restrictions, consisting of at least one seam (7,13a,13b,17a,17b,19,23-25) with at least eight stitches (6).
