The phase-locked loop has an adjustable charge pump (2) for producing a control voltage (UVCO), connected to a voltage-controlled oscillator (4) and an evaluation unit (14,14'). Using the control voltage and a reference VCO gain (Kvco), a correction signal (Iref) is produced and output from the evaluation unit. This output is connected to an input of the charge pump.
