The luggage transporting trolley has a chassis (2) and a load-carrying platform (5) which cross. The connecting points (16) of the load carrying platform and wheel forks are located lower than the connecting points of the running chassis and cross bar. The chassis occupies a forwards inclined position. The release rod (22) of the trolley's brake unit is guided through a stop device (18) which is located between the upright struts (11) which support the wheel forks at their bottom end.
