Inductive current measurement device for determining the current flowing in a conductor (1) has a magnetic field sensitive sensor (4) for measuring the magnetic field generated by a current flowing through the conductor. The sensor is positioned above or below a space (15) formed between two conductor branches (2, 3) that are arranged parallel to the conductor on either side of it. The field sensor has a detection element that is perpendicular to the X-field component. The invention also relates to a similar current measurement device with sensors (4, 14) above and below the outer conductor branches. Typically magnetoresistive sensors are used.
