The case of plastic for the transporting of especially bottles has an encompassing mouth edge hollow walled in construction and with breaks, and is especially 40mm high maximum, and especially with a wall thickness of about 2.2mm, with small gripping openings in the mouth edge or below it. The wall thickness of the bottle high case walls comes to 1.2mm or less. The side walls have formed-in inner lying and/or outer lying ribs, whereby the wall thickness in the region of the ribs is greater on account of the rib formation.
