Sprag locking element for transmission of a torque from one drive to another and for blocking a torque input by one drive. The element has at least two clamping bodies with clamping surfaces that contact the inner surface of a brake housing and couplings for linking to the drives. The clamping surfaces (41, 42) of the clamping body (4, 5) have at least partially varying sections in the axial and or circumferential direction of the brake housing (1).
