The device receives sheets from a feeder, feeds them to output stations and has a chassis, a stacking station and a carriage for transporting sheets or bundles from the stacking station to the output stations. A guide path has a base position section next to the stacking station and at least one output section leading to the output stations. The output sections can be optionally connected to the base position section via a circular diverter. The device receives sheets from a single sheet feeder and feeds them to a number of output stations (32,34,36,38) and has a chassis (22), a stacking device (26) and a transport carriage (30) for transporting sheets or bundles from the stacking station to the output stations. A guide path has a base position section (48) next to the stacking station and at least one output section (52,54,56) leading to the output stations. The output sections can be optionally connected to the base position section via a circular diverter (42).
