The heat insulating composite system, instead of three, has only two functional layers comprising a heat insulating layer and a glass fiber reinforced facing. The original mortar layer with a fabric insert can be dispensed with. A modified and hydraulically hardened mortar with admixed glass fibers is applied in an injection process and on account of its layer thickness and strength is in the position to replace the hitherto necessary reinforced mortar layer in the system.
