The arrangement has an image reproduction device and an optical unit with optical elements positioned so light from them intersects in observation positions from which partial information of first and second selections of the views is detected by first and second eyes of the observer. The reproduction device and optical unit are reversibly connected to reversibly change from monoscopic to auto stereoscopic representation. The arrangement has an image reproduction device, an optical unit with a number of optical elements with positions defined so that light from the elements propagates in directions that intersect in observation positions from which partial information of a first selection of the views is detected by one eye and partial information of a second selection of views by the other eye of the observer. The reproduction device and optical unit are reversibly connected by an attachment device to reversibly change from monoscopic to auto stereoscopic image representation. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of temporarily equipping a flat screen as an auto stereoscopic flat screen.
