The fuel feed unit (2) for a motor vehicle has a sub-assembly with a fuel pump installed in the fuel tank (1) and connected to a flange (8). A pressure regulator (11) is installed in a supply line (12) guided through the flange and at least a part of the pressure regulator's housing is made in one piece with a component of the sub-assembly of the fuel pump. The component of sub-assembly may be a part of a housing of a filter (10) installed in a swirl pot (3), a fuel pump cover or swirl pot cover, or a housing for the pressure regulator's valve seat.
