The pump (10) has a rotor (16) which is mounted on a shaft (15) and fits inside a cylindrical housing (11). The drive shaft extends through an aperture in a flat bottom closure plate (12). The housing has an inlet aperture (18) on one side and an outlet aperture (19) diametrically opposed to it. A working chamber (17) is formed between the sloping top surface of the rotor (16.1) and a body forming a sector of a circle (20.1) rocking in a groove in a domed lid (13).
