Field strength correction method for HF pulses provided by antenna of magnetic resonance imaging device using regulation of antenna current

The field strength correction method has the antenna current (I) regulated to obtain a specific current value during transmission of the HF pulses, by varying the power supplied to the antenna (1), the current held at a constant value during the magnetic resonance imaging. Field probes (4,5) can be used for providing a feedback signal (RS) representing the actual antenna current. An Independent claim for a magnetic resonance imaging device is also included.
