Method for automatic determination of the variance in grading and diagnosis of medical results. According to the method medical data is entered via two capture modules (4, 6) and distributed to evaluating personnel for grading or diagnosis. Based on the degree of agreement between different graders a medical diagnosis or finding is generated with an associated variance based on the degree of concurrence between the individual graders. The method can be expanded to access and classify different graders according to the degree of success of their diagnoses.
