A height adjustment for the movable part (2) of railway switching points is supported on one or two rollers (6) fitted to roller support blocks (5). The blocks are secured to mounting plates (24, 25), clamped to the switch support, by threaded fasteners (19, 20) and with packing spacers (7, 8) between the blocks and the base plates. The height adjustment is provided by the relative setting of the two spacer discs or each packing spacer, with the spacers having a structured surface with sectors at varying heights. The height adjustment can be effected when the switch is assembled and before tightening the securing fasteners.
