The sliding surface (11) is spring-loaded against the lower feed roller (17). Together they form the feed-clamping line (18). Starting at the output roller pair (3) of the stretching mechanism (2), the fibrous band (1) wraps around the lower roller (5). It is deflected through at least 30degrees as it runs (A). The sliding surface is curved between the lower roller (5) and the lower feed roller (17). This roller (17) is a pressure roller with resilient covering (24). The lower feed roller drive, is taken from the lower roller (5). The feed roller is an intermediate roller driven from a separately-driven lower cylinder (25). The suction channel (13) is located in a load bearer (20) holding the upper roller (6) of the stretching mechanism output roller pair (3). The suction channel extends over two adjacent spinning locations (a, b). The transport belt (10) touches lightly against the counter-rotating, upper roller (6). A spring (23) on the suction channel presses against the transport belt, transmitting pressure against the upper roller (6) and at the same time acting as a tensioner for the transport belt.
