The gasket has at least one optical waveguide (6), such as a glass fiber, arranged around the contour of the combustion chamber (1-4) openings. The characteristics of the waveguide are based on the pressure acting on it. Laser light is used for pressure measurement, and the measurement signal is obtained from the phase shift. The light guide is operatively connected to a laser interferometer (7).
