The mechanism to tilt a sprung driver cab (1) against the vehicle frame (2), at a commercial freight truck, has a motor (3) to move the cab. Springs (4,5) are between the cab and the vehicle frame, together with tilting mountings (6) which rotate around an axis on sliding bearings. A second set of mountings (7) secure the cab in the driving position, and are disengaged for cab tilting. When the cab is in the driving position, the tilting mountings have no sliding movement.
