摘要

The rotor shaft (1) is mounted in bearings ahead of and behind the rotor blades (4). The support framework rides on three floats (14, 15) in a triangular configuration. The underwater rotor (11) develops thrust to compensate all wind forces acting on the structure. Rotor diameter ratios are designed such that only part of the energy generated, is used for compensation. Ropes and anchors (20, 21) fasten the plant to the sea bed. A rotating connection makes the plant self-aligning, so that the generator rotor always faces into the wind.
