Dialkylaminoalkylphenyl carbamate derivatives (I) are used to protect people from poisoning by cholinesterase inhibitors. Dialkylaminoalkylphenyl carbamate derivatives of formula (I) are used to protect humans from poisoning with cholinesterase inhibitors. R1 = H, 1-5C alkyl, cyclohexyl, allyl or benzyl; R2 = H, Me, Et or Pr; R3 = H or 1-5C alkyl; and R4, R5 = 1-5C alkyl. An Independent claim is also included for a medicament for preventing poisoning by cholinesterase inhibitors, comprising at least one compound (I) is free base or salt form and one or more parasympatholytic agents.
