A datum axis is defined based on the centers of curvature and surface inclinations, and necessary placing movement is computed. Piercing points of the datum axis are computed to represent placing movement which is observed based on arbitrary reference points to judge datum axis movement. The placing movement equals the translation of the projection of all reference points and the datum axis.
