Internal combustion engine with variable compression ratio has eccentric bush between connecting rod and piston bolt and/or crankshaft journal with essentially radially protruding adjustment piston
The internal combustion engine has a connecting rod (3) between a crankshaft journal (2) and a piston bolt (9) of an associated piston (4) whose effective rod length can be varied to vary the engine's compression ratio and an eccentric bush (5) between the rod and piston bolt and/or journal with an essentially radially protruding adjustment piston (6) that can be displaced in a groove forming a control chamber (8) in the connecting rod eye (10).
