New esters (A) of alpha ,omega -poly(meth)acrylate-diols (B) with carboxylic acids (C), containing group(s) that can be activated with actinic radiation, are obtained by reacting compound(s) (B) with acid(s) (C) or (C) ester(s), having bond(s) that can be activated with actinic radiation, in the presence of enzyme(s) and/or organisms(s) catalyzing ester exchange or esterification. An independent claim is also included for preparation of (A) in this way.
